February 4, 2021, London – ActiveViam is delighted to announce that our FRTB Accelerator has been chosen as the “FRTB Product of the Year” in the Risk Markets Technology Awards 2021.
The FRTB Accelerator is a pre-packaged but configurable solution that helps banks solve the complex and data-intensive Fundamental Review of the Trading Book (FRTB) regulation and substantially saves on time- to-market.

Last year, ActiveViam partnered with the International Swaps and Derivatives Association (ISDA), the industry trade group that represents the interests of derivatives market participants and sets best practices and industry standards. In June 2020, ActiveViam licensed and successfully ran ISDA’s benchmarking unit test for the Basel FRTB Standardized Approach (SA), solidifying the FRTB Accelerator as a premier solution to meet global banking regulations.
ActiveViam also partnered with the Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation (DTCC) in their launch of a beta version of their FRTB Real Price Observations Data Service, which enables the mapping of risk factors to a pool of global derivatives data to help banks manage part of the Internal Models Approach (IMA) of the FRTB requirement.

The solution can be delivered on premise, as SaaS or run in the Cloud.
