September 29, 2021, Hong Kong/Singapore – ActiveViam is pleased to announce that our FRTB Accelerator has won the “FRTB Management Solution of the Year” in the Asia Risk Technology Awards.
The FRTB Accelerator is a pre-packaged but configurable solution that helps banks solve the complex and data-intensive Fundamental Review of the Trading Book (FRTB) regulation and substantially saves on time- to-market.

Last year, ActiveViam partnered with the International Swaps and Derivatives Association (ISDA), the industry trade group that represents the interests of derivatives market participants and sets best practices and industry standards. In June 2020, ActiveViam licensed and successfully ran ISDA’s benchmarking unit test for the Basel FRTB Standardized Approach (SA), solidifying the FRTB Accelerator as a premier solution to meet global banking regulations.
More than a dozen clients currently use this FRTB Management Solution of the Year, for both the SA and IMA including global banks across Asia, Europe and North America (among them HSBC, Société Générale, Santander, Scotiabank, Nomura, CIBC, Mizuho) with several more projects in the works. The solution can be delivered on premise, as SaaS or run in the Cloud.
