Background
Excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and ambitious senior sales professional to join our EMEA sales team within our highly successful global FinTech company.
We seek a Senior Sales Manager with enterprise wide experience in sell side and buy side with the ability to deliver the best relationship management experience for our financial services clients. This unique role will be responsible for managing the full sales cycle for new logo sales as well as expanding the usage of our solutions within existing clients through upselling and cross-selling and ensuring their overall happiness and continued renewal of our services. You will be responsible for understanding clients’ needs, identifying requirements and opportunities and building strategies for global account growth.
The role requires strong interpersonal, account and relationship management as well as sales skills. The ability to manage multiple accounts in a fast-paced environment is essential. Knowledge of the financial services industry and regulatory landscape is preferred. Additionally, experience with a CRM database is desirable.
Responsibilities

- Understand our clients’ business in order to facilitate the right solutions
- Delivering and managing clients’ expectations successfully and establishing a solid relationship as a trusted partner
- Maintain relationships with existing clients
- Expand relationships with existing clients through upselling and cross selling by proposing solutions that exceed their objectives, needs and requirements
- Negotiate contracts and close deals with key accounts & new logos
- Maintaining the CRM database
- Managing Sales campaigns
- Some European travel involved
About you
- Ability to strategically build and maintain relationships
- Commercially aware
- Working in a collaborative manner with all teams and resources
- Track record of delivering exceptional account/relationship management across sell side or buy side enterprise Clients, managing C Suite relationships
- More than 5 years’ experience in a Capital Markets FinTech Sales Manager focussed role
- Excellent interpersonal and sales skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Detail orientated, disciplined and organised
- Team player
- Ability to operate in dynamic, challenging and fun environment
- Prior experience with financial software
- Good knowledge of latest financial regulations
Required skills
- The successful candidate will have a solid capital markets FinTech background and track record [B2B]
- Experience of managing key accounts with multiple stakeholders & gaining new logos
- Ability to network
- Outgoing and motivated
- Excellent communication and closing skills
- Experience in managing complex enterprise wide negotiations & sales processes
- Additional languages are a plus in particular French, German and Spanish
