Introduction

Atoti UI is a web application allowing the analysis of very large datasets collaboratively, using shareable dashboards. With it, users can create performant and interactive tables and charts showing results of aggregations made on billions of data points. It is a component of our product: Atoti. This application contains many built-in functionalities and can also be extended through a system of plugins. This way, our customers can create their own specific visualisation components or actions, in order to answer specific business requirements.

But as powerful as Atoti might be for seasoned users, the amount of functionality it contains can be daunting for newcomers. Even though its documentation is available online, we believe that some might still be driven away during their first session because they struggle to do what they need to do quickly enough.

Also, what better place to document the product, than the product itself?

Expected work

The goal of this internship is to create a series of onboarding interactions directly within the web application, guiding the first few steps of new users. You will collaborate with our product owners in order to decide on which steps to document and will be supervised by experienced FrontEnd developers. Your challenge will be to grasp the attention of newcomers who would otherwise have been turned down by their experience and provide them with relevant information, without coming off as an annoyance to more experienced users.

This will be an opportunity for you to:

• Contribute to developing a FrontEnd among a professional team of developers.
• Acquire TypeScript / React development skills 
• Discover the world of multidimensional data analysis
